Mega Windforce B.V., Veldzigt 2A, 3454 PW Utrecht, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 42105888. For anything in this statement you can reach us at info@megawindforce.com.
This website has two forms. The contact form asks for your first name, last name, company, email address, the subject of your question and your message. The pitch deck form asks for your name and email address. We use those details for one thing: to answer you or to send you the pitch deck and follow up on it.
You choose the subject yourself. Messages from investors go to investors@megawindforce.com, everything else goes to info@megawindforce.com. Both mailboxes are ours and are read by our own people.
Submissions arrive in our email, hosted at Microsoft 365 in the European Union and are kept in the website itself for as long as we need them to answer you. We keep correspondence for twelve months after our last contact, unless there is a reason to keep it longer, for example an agreement we entered into.
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not measure how the site is used. What it stores stays in your own browser and only holds choices you made yourself: that you have seen the cookie notice, and whether you closed the message about the Eyevestor campaign. None of that reaches us.
Three things come from outside the site. The typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when a page opens. Video is hosted by Vimeo and only loads when you press play; we ask Vimeo to switch its tracking off, so the player does not follow you from site to site. The address on the contact page is a link to Google Maps, not a map built into the page, so nothing loads from Google Maps until you click it.
You can read the notice again at any time through at the bottom of the page.
We do not sell your details and we do not pass them on for anyone else to market to you. We do use suppliers who process data on our behalf, such as our hosting provider and our email provider. Eyevestor is a separate platform: if you invest there, you enter your details on their site under their own privacy statement, not ours.
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted and object to us using it. Send that request to info@megawindforce.com and we will respond within a month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
If the website changes in a way that affects this statement, we update it here. Last updated September 2026.
Mega Windforce brings WhisperRing to the market, a wind turbine built around a patented aerodynamic ring architecture and an advanced production process, which brings the cost of wind energy down and makes it available far more widely. A light-weight structure that scales from a single site to a wind park.
Where a conventional turbine has a hub and a nacelle, WhisperRing has a ring that carries the blades and has a wing profile of its own, so the turbine generates more energy from the same wind. A patented magnetic transmission replaces the gearbox, resulting in less friction and maintenance. The blades, ring and tower are made of carbon fibre composite, resulting in lower weight. Our first model is the WR20kW, for farms, business parks, microgrids and off-grid locations.

Mega Windforce is the Dutch company behind WhisperRing. A small team brings together doctoral researchers in wind turbine engineering and aerodynamics and entrepreneurs from the energy sector, with all key roles filled. We build out our ecosystem with our team and with strategic partnerships. More than €3 million has been committed to the technology so far, largely by the team itself.
Mega Windforce holds two patents and an exclusive licence to the CFRP production process. Combined, these technologies give the WR20kW a low capital cost, low running costs and high annual production, which brings its cost of energy 30 to 50% below comparable turbines. First markets: Greece, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
We are raising €1.5 million to take the WR20kW to a production-ready prototype. The current management team has invested €3 million, part of which as co-investment in this round. Through the crowdsharing campaign on Eyevestor anyone can take part from €500.

Read the post on LinkedInWhisperRing is a wind turbine built around a patented aerodynamic ring architecture, which makes better use of the same wind, resulting in lower energy cost. The first model is the WR20kW, for farms, business parks, microgrids and off-grid locations.
Wind at smaller scale has always been the expensive option. The ring changes that: more power from the same wind, while fewer components, reduced maintenance needs, less material in the machine and a production line built for high volumes bring the cost down.
A ring-shaped hub instead of a nacelle on a shaft. That one change runs through the whole turbine: the aerodynamics, the drivetrain and the construction.
Where a conventional turbine has a hub and a nacelle, WhisperRing has a ring that carries the blades and has a wing profile of its own. This airfoil ring redirects the inner air current to the tips, where the blades are most productive, so the turbine generates more energy from the same wind. Additionally, the airflow through the ring increases the energy recovery behind the turbine, which lets turbines stand about 30% closer together in a wind farm.
A patented magnetic transmission replaces the conventional gearbox and transfers torque without parts touching, which means less wear and less maintenance. The ring leaves room for a highly efficient generator built from proven standard technology.
Ring and lattice tower are made of CFRP, a carbon-fibre composite that is light and very strong, resulting in lower weight and reduced forces on the tower. The production process was designed with the Fraunhofer institute and is automated with little waste.
The WhisperRing proof of concept works and the WR20kW drivetrain has been designed and tested. The prototype follows later this year, with validation and certification close behind. Production starts in early 2028.
Working proof of concept (WR2.0) and the WR20kW drivetrain developed and tested.
Delivery of the WR20kW prototype, followed by validation, certification and preparation for mass production.
Start of production of the WR20kW, scaling up to 1,500 turbines per year.
Start of the WR36-500kW+ prototype.
New factories and new prototypes: the WR72-3MW+ and larger.
Our focus is entirely on the WR20kW. The same ring technology carries over to the larger models on our roadmap and the cost advantage carries over with it.
From 2028
20 kW · Rotor 10 m · Tower 12–30 m
For farms, business parks, microgrids and off-grid locations
From 2029
500 kW+ · Rotor 36 m · Tower 30–60 m
For energy hubs, onshore wind farms, the repower market and locations with height restrictions
From 2031
3 MW+ · Rotor 72 m · Tower 70–130 m
For large-scale onshore and offshore wind farms and the lowest cost per kilowatt-hour
The calculator estimates the annual yield and the financial return of a WhisperRing at a location of your choosing. The result is strongest at sites with a real wind profile, such as farms, business parks and energy hubs.
A Dutch company developing WhisperRing, a wind turbine built around a patented ring. We hold the patents and the production licence and bring the turbine to market together with partners who build and sell it.
Let's make wind energy affordable and available. We aim for the lowest cost of wind energy and a design that scales worldwide, good for people, planet and profit. While the industry keeps aiming at ever larger turbines, we make the smaller scale worth building. The current management team has invested €3 million, part of which as co-investment in this round.

Mega Windforce seeks partnerships to build production facilities together with experienced manufacturing partners. We bring the product expertise and take a stake in the plant, while they bring the manufacturing experience, capacity and the people. Together with Baltico the factory configuration and layout is designed in concept to machine level, and a first production partner has signed a memorandum of understanding.
The composite parts are produced with the CFRP process of licensor Baltico, a proven technology that is already in use in the wind industry and beyond.
Experienced manufacturers produce under that licence close to the markets they supply, with us as co-owner of every plant and closely involved in building and running it.
The same line can also produce parts for conventional wind turbines, so a plant is never dependent on our order book alone.
A team of twelve that unites scientific depth and entrepreneurial drive: doctoral researchers in wind turbine engineering and aerodynamics alongside experienced entrepreneurs in sustainable energy, with all key roles firmly filled. That depth reaches beyond our own walls, because WhisperRing is a Dutch design developed in collaboration with TU Delft.

Mega Windforce is bringing WhisperRing to market, a wind turbine built around a patented ring. This page sets out where the company stands today, which markets it will enter first and how you can invest.
The current management team has invested €3 million, part of which as co-investment in this round. Alongside that, experienced angel investors and innovation grants have contributed to developing WhisperRing. That money is locked into the intellectual property that makes the company valuable today, two patents on the core innovations and an exclusive licence to the CFRP production process, worldwide for the wind industry with the exception of China. That position is what we now take to market, starting where the case for the WR20kW is strongest.
The wind industry keeps aiming at ever larger turbines and leaves the smaller scale unserved. That is where the WR20kW belongs. Our three focus markets share high electricity prices, a strong wind regime and governments that support small-scale wind.
More than 6,000 islands with excellent wind and electricity prices up to €0.60 per kWh, many of them still running on diesel. WhisperRing produces there at rates as low as €0.075 per kWh. A distributor with a 1.5 GW renewable energy portfolio signed a letter of intent for 3,000 turbines.
Strong wind in Scotland, around €0.25 per kWh for smaller businesses and a policy under which permits for small wind are straightforward. WhisperRing produces there at rates as low as €0.065 per kWh. We are a member of the Scottish industry body and in negotiation with several resellers.
Energy cooperatives bundle local buyers and energy hubs look to wind as an answer to grid congestion, combined with solar and battery storage. An estimated 12,000 farms and 1,200 energy hubs.
Through an open crowdsharing round on the Eyevestor platform, anyone can become a co-owner of the company behind WhisperRing.
The round raises €1.5 million. The current management team has invested €3 million, part of which as co-investment in this round. That money takes the WR20kW from a proven concept to a validated, production-ready prototype and on to the pre-production series and certification. Investors receive certificates that represent an economic interest in Mega Windforce, quarterly updates from the management team and a place in the private investor community.
